Carbon Fibre Braided Sleeve
Braided carbon fibre sleeve (sock) is a biaxial braid of precisely oriented fibres for maximum stiffness, torsial stability, and compressive strength. This sleeve has a 45 degree orientation and can be increased from the base diameter up to 30% and decreased up to 70%.
This carbon braided sleeve can easily and repeatedly be expanded open to fit over molding tools or cores. It can accommodate straight, uniform, cross-section forms as well as non-linear, irregular, cross section components. Great for paddle shafts, fishing rods and various marine, auto and sports related applications.
Best results are achieved with epoxy resins but this high grade carbon braided sleeve can be used with polyester or vinyl ester resins.
