ORDERING & SHIPPING
We sell and ship products all over New Zealand. No matter where your location is, we can get our products to you. However, keep in mind that because many of the products we sell are considered dangerous goods, freight costs and delivery times can vary.
Post Haste is our preferred courier as they ship dangerous goods to both the North and South Islands, track every package and usually deliver in 2-3 business days depending on the customer’s location, stock availability and the nature of the product(s) ordered.
North Island deliveries are usually the next business day and South Island deliveries are usually 2-3 business days. We do not deliver on weekends or public holidays. Items sent by express bags are delivered the next day in the North and South Island. Rural deliveries are the exception regardless of the shipping package or method. Rural delivery will depend on the customer’s location, their local rural service and / or rural delivery schedule.
We can deliver to a work or home address but DO NOT ship to PO Box addresses. It is preferable to deliver to a work address to ensure that someone is there to sign for the delivery during normal business hours; 9am – 5pm. If you believe that someone may not be home for a home delivery then we advise that you use a work address to be sure.
If an attempt is made to deliver and the customer is not there, the courier will leave a contact note and return the package to the local depot. If you choose to make alternative arrangements or have instructions such as ‘leave at the back door’ please make this very clear when placing your order. We cannot change shipping instructions once items have been picked up from our location and are in transit.
Due to courier pick up times and conditions of service, orders placed by phone or via this website after 3pm during normal business hours will be processed and shipped the following business day. Although Post Haste fulfills next day deliveries 99.9% of the time, customers should also note that in certain circumstances (i.e. adverse weather conditions / Christmas backlog etc.) this can not always be guaranteed. If your delivery is of a critical nature, please contact us for advice.

SURFBOARD BLANK SHIPPING
Main Freight is our preferred courier for Surfboard Blanks. We have been using Main Freight for many years and trust their delivery service. They always endeavor to deliver surfboard blanks on time and in the condition they left our warehouse in.
Surfboard foam is fragile so we do our best to label and package our blanks well to protect the foam and integrity of the blank during transit. However, always check the condition of your blank(s) in the presence of the delivery driver before signing for the package. If you receive a damaged blank(s) or the packaging appears to have been tampered with, make a written note on the delivery docket in the presence of the driver and notify us as well as your local Main Freight office as soon as possible (within 24 hours).
Our physical store hours are from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.
We accept Cash, Eftpos and Credit Cards (Visa or Mastercard) in store at the point of sale and are happy to accept credit card numbers over the phone or via email for orders that are to be shipped or picked up. We also accept Direct Deposits and are happy to email customers quotes or invoices with our bank account details on the invoice or quote for direct deposits. As soon as direct deposits are cleared we usually ship the same day. Please keep in mind that any order(s) not placed through our website will incur shipping & handling charges.
We reserve the right to change prices, product descriptions, make corrections and alter company policies without notice. Manufacturers and Suppliers are constantly changing prices. Prices on this website include G.S.T. and reflect the most current information available. We will notify customers of any significant changes affecting your order before we ship and request confirmation that changes are acceptable.
We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any items during transit as we have no control over any courier service. Always check the condition of your items, packaging and the packing slip in the presence of the courier. If you receive a damaged package or a package that appears to have been tampered with, make a written note to the courier when you sign for and receive the package. Please notify us as well as the local courier office as soon as possible (within 24 hours).
